Connect Kaufland Global Marketplace API

This guide explains how to connect AdlerDo with the Kaufland Global Marketplace API.
Once connected, AdlerDo can synchronize products, inventory, orders, and shipment information between your ERP (such as Odoo) and Kaufland.

By connecting AdlerDo to Kaufland via the official API, your system becomes capable of:

Prerequisites

Before starting, make sure that:

You have an active Kaufland Seller account

You have access to the Kaufland Seller Portal

You are allowed to manage API credentials in the seller account

Steps to Obtain Your Kaufland API Credentials

To connect AdlerDo with Kaufland, you must first obtain your API credentials from the Kaufland Seller Portal.

Navigate to the API Settings

Open the following link in your browser:

https://sellerportal.kaufland.de/settings/api

From the left-side menu, navigate to:

Settings → Shop Settings → API

View Your Current API Keys

In the Current API key section, you will see:

  • Client key (Client ID) — masked for security

  • Secret key (Client Secret) — masked for security

⚠️ These values are hidden and cannot be revealed again for security reasons.

Generate New API Keys (If Needed)

If you do not have valid credentials or need a new pair, click:

Generate new API keys

⚠️ Important:
Once new keys are generated:

  • The old Client ID and Client Secret immediately become invalid

  • Any existing integration using the old keys will stop working

  • You must update AdlerDo with the new credentials

4. Save Your New Credentials

After generating new keys:

  • Copy the Client ID

  • Copy the Client Secret

  • Store both values securely

⚠️ You will not be able to retrieve them again after leaving the page.

Connecting Kaufland to AdlerDo

After obtaining your API credentials, you can connect Kaufland inside AdlerDo.

Step 1: Select Account Type

From the dropdown menu next to Select, choose:

Step 2: Enter Account Details

Fill in the following fields:

Account Name

Enter a distinctive name for this connection, such as “My Kaufland Store” or “Kaufland DE Account”

Client ID

Enter the Client ID obtained from your Kaufland account

Client Secret

Enter the Client Secret obtained from your Kaufland account

Step 3: Save and Connect the Account

After filling in all required fields, click the Add New Account button (green).

AdlerDo will attempt to establish a connection with the Kaufland Global Marketplace API using the provided credentials.

Step 4: Verify Connected Accounts

Once the connection is successful:

At this point, your system is ready to synchronize data.

What Happens After the Connection

After connecting Kaufland to AdlerDo:

Product and stock synchronization can be enabled

Orders placed on Kaufland are automatically imported into AdlerDo

Orders are forwarded to your ERP for processing

Shipment confirmations and tracking numbers can be sent back to Kaufland

All synchronization follows the standard AdlerDo Complete Sync Cycle.

Common Notes & Best Practices

After connecting Kaufland to AdlerDo:

Always keep SKUs consistent between your ERP and Kaufland

If synchronization fails, check whether API keys were regenerated

Use secure storage for API credentials

Re-connect the account immediately after changing API keys
