DB Schenker is a provider of logistics shipping services, offering various solutions for shipping and delivery both within and outside countries. The system allows users to add and manage DB Schenker shipping accounts to facilitate their shipping operations.

Accessing the Shipping Accounts Section:

From the left-side menu, click on Carrier Accounts.

Accessing the DB Schenker Account:

On the Carrier Accounts Integration page, you will find a list of connected accounts.

Search for DB Schenker among the existing accounts. You can click on it to access the account management page.

Explanation of "Add Account" in DB Schenker Account Management

The “Add Account” feature allows you to add a new account to the system to manage your shipping operations with DB Schenker. By clicking on Add Account, you can enter your DB Schenker account details to link it to the system, enabling you to use their shipping services easily and efficiently.

Steps to Add a New Account to the System:

Access the Account Management Page: From the side menu in the system interface, select Carrier Accounts.

On the Carrier Accounts Integration page, a list of connected accounts will appear.

Click on the “Add Account” button: At the top of the DB Schenker Account Management page, you will find the Add Account button (green button). Click on it to begin the process of adding a new account.

Adding a New Account to DB Schenker

To add a new account, click on the green “Add Account” button, as shown in the first image.

A new window will appear, requesting you to enter the necessary details to set up the new account.

Filling in Account Information

  • Access Key: This is a required field. Enter the unique access key provided by DB Schenker for integration.
  • Measurement Type: Choose between Metric or Imperial, depending on your preference for units of measurement.
  • Unit of Measurement: Select the unit of measurement you will use for your shipments.

Available options include:

  • Kilograms
  • Meters
  • Cubic Meters
  • Pieces

Adding a Shipping Method

When you click the “Add Method” button, options for available shipping methods will be displayed.

Select the method you wish to add. Possible methods may include:

  • Sea Freight
  • Air Freight
  • Land Freight

The available options may vary depending on DB Schenker’s integration with different shipping systems.

Saving Changes

After adding the shipping method and configuring the required details, click Save Changes to confirm the addition of the new shipping method.

If you wish to cancel adding the method, click Cancel.

Edit Account

Once you have successfully added a DB Schenker account in the Shipping Company Account Management interface, a list of connected accounts will appear (as shown in the first image).

In this list, you will have an Edit Account button (in orange) next to the existing DB Schenker account.

Delete Account

When you click the “Delete Account” button, you will be prompted to confirm the action.

This option means you will permanently delete the DB Schenker account from the system. A confirmation message may appear to ensure you want to proceed with this action.

The account and all associated data, such as access keys and configured shipping methods, will be deleted.

Where Accounts Appear

The accounts appear inside the table within the red frame in the image — which is the DB Schenker account management table.

Once adding an account, a new row will appear in the table containing:

  • Account ID
  • Access Key
  • Measurement Type
  • Measure Unit
  • Methods Count
  • Actions
