The Category Management section allows you to organize the products in your store by creating, editing, and deleting categories.
🧭 Accessing the Category Management Page
From the left sidebar, click on Categories as shown in the image.
You will be directed to the Category Management page, which includes:
- An Add button to create a new category
- An Edit button to modify a selected category
- A Delete button to remove a selected category
- A table displaying the names of the existing categories
➕ First: Adding a New Category (Add Category)
Click the Add button (the green button).
A form will appear allowing you to enter the category details:
- Name: the name of the category
After entering the information, click Save.
The new category will appear immediately in the table.
✏ Second: Editing a Category (Edit Category)
From the categories table, select the category you want to edit (by clicking on it).
Click the Edit button (the orange button).
A form will appear showing the current category details.
Make the necessary changes.
Click Save to save the edits.
🗑 Third: Deleting a Category (Delete Category)
From the categories table, select the category you want to delete.
Click the Delete button (the red button).
A deletion confirmation alert will appear.
Click Confirm to complete the process.
The category will be removed from the list.
